Lahore, Multan and Sargodha boards announce intermediate results

The Lahore, Multan and Sargodha education boards on Wednesday announced the results of the 2026 Intermediate Part-II annual examinations, with overall pass rates ranging from 64.98 per cent to 69.19 per cent.

Lahore Board records 64.98pc pass rate

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore recorded an overall pass rate of 64.98 per cent, with 123,060 candidates declared successful out of 189,373 who appeared in the examinations.

According to the board, 192,950 candidates had registered for the Intermediate examinations, which began on May 20.

The pass rate among regular candidates stood at 71.67pc, compared with 44.83pc among private candidates.

Female candidates recorded a pass rate of 73.74pc, while the success rate among male candidates was 51.54pc.

More than 66,000 candidates were unsuccessful in the examinations, according to the board.

The Lahore Board said candidates could apply online for rechecking of their results.

Multan Board reports 67.03pc success rate

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Multan reported an overall pass rate of 67.03pc, with 53,489 candidates declared successful out of 79,796 who appeared in the examinations.

Ali bin Abdullah secured the first position with 1,163 marks, followed by Fakhira Zafar, who obtained 1,162 marks.

Dania Sabir, Dua Fatima and Faizan Shaukat shared the third position after securing 1,161 marks each.

Among the districts under the Multan Board, the pass rate was 67.11pc in Lodhran, 67.90pc in Khanewal and 66.24pc in Vehari, according to the board administration.

Sargodha Board records 69.19pc pass rate

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Sargodha reported an overall success rate of 69.19pc.

A total of 55,034 candidates appeared in the examination, of whom 38,076 were declared successful and 16,958 unsuccessful.

The results were announced by Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza along with the board chairman.

In Sargodha district, 27,363 candidates appeared and 19,741 passed, giving a pass rate of 72.14pc.

The pass rate stood at 64.92pc in Bhakkar, 68.35pc in Khushab and 65.69pc in Mianwali, according to the board.
