Lahore to get 300 electric buses

LAHORE: During a meeting at the Planning and Development Department, the Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, was briefed that Lahore will soon be acquiring 300 electric buses.

Meanwhile, across other cities in the province, a total of 330 electric buses will be introduced.

A five-hour-long extensive session was held to review CM’s Special Projects and initiatives in detail.

During the meeting, the idea of producing electric buses locally was discussed.

Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Azama Zahid Bukhari, Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, Sher Ali Gorchani, Khawaja Imran Nazir, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Faisal Ayub Khokhar, Zeeshan Rafique, Bilal Akbar, Aashiq Hussain Karamani, MPA Saniya Aashiq, Chief Secretary, Chairman Planning and Development Board, Inspector General, Secretaries, and other officials attended the meeting.
