Man arrested for allegedly murdering 22-year-old wife in DHA Karachi

KARACHI: A man has been arrested in Karachi by the police on charges of murdering his 22-year-old wife, Quratul Ain, at their residence in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) on Sunday.

The husband, identified as Abrar Bugti, insisting that his wife had taken her own life, the police have arrested him based on a murder case filed by the deceased’s father.

The victim, also known as Aini Bugti, was discovered with fatal gunshot wounds in their apartment. DIG-South Syed Asad Raza confirmed the arrest of Abrar Bugti and said that the case was being treated as a murder, contradicting the initial claim of suicide made by the husband.
