Pakistan rejects claim of US Navy operations against Iran from its territory

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has rejected as fabricated propaganda claims that the US Navy was using Pakistani territory to launch operations against Iran with Islamabad’s alleged approval.

In a fact-check statement posted on X, the ministry said a North America-based account had circulated fabricated claims about US Navy operations against Iran from Pakistani territory.

It said the dissemination of such false claims was part of a broader agenda to create confusion and discord among the public.

The ministry also urged people not to take such social media posts seriously, saying they were not worthy of the attention of any serious observer.

It said such posts should be viewed as propaganda rather than credible information.
