BULAWAYO: Pakistan Under-19 defeated the United States by 69 runs in a warm-up match of the ICC Men’s Under-19 World Cup, delivering a solid all-round performance.

Batting first, Pakistan posted 294 for 8 in their allotted 50 overs. Sameer Minhas led the batting with a composed 74, while Ali Hassan Baloch added 36 runs to strengthen the total. Ahmed Hussain scored 43 before retiring hurt.

Chasing a target of 295, the USA were dismissed for 225 in 43.5 overs. Sohail Garg top-scored for the USA with 75 runs. Pakistan bowlers maintained pressure throughout the innings, with Momin Qamar and Abdul Subhan claiming three wickets each.

Pakistan’s disciplined bowling and consistent batting ensured control of the match from start to finish. The victory provides a confidence boost for the team ahead of the Under-19 World Cup.
