Petrol, diesel prices raised by up to Rs26 per litre

ISLAMABAD: Petrol and diesel prices have been increased by up to Rs26 per litre amid the ongoing blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, according to an official notification.

The price of petrol has been raised by Rs26.77 per litre, while high-speed diesel has also seen an increase of Rs26.77 per litre.

Following the revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs393.35 per litre, whereas high-speed diesel now stands at Rs380.19 per litre.

The adjustment comes as global energy markets remain under pressure due to continued disruption in the Strait of Hormuz, a key oil transit route.
