Petrol price cut by Rs1.93 per litre, diesel by Rs4.21

The Petroleum Division announced a cut in petroleum product prices in a notification issued late Wednesday evening.

The price of petrol has been reduced by Rs1.93 per litre, bringing its new price to Rs390.12 per litre, according to the notification by the Oil and Gas Petroleum Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

The price of high-speed diesel has been cut by Rs4.21 per litre, taking its new price to Rs414.75 per litre.

The new prices will take effect from September 24 and will stay implemented till tomorrow evening.

The federal government had also reduced prices of both petrol and diesel a day earlier. Petrol was cut by Rs1.70 per litre, from Rs393.75 to Rs392.05, while diesel was reduced by Rs3.12 per litre, from Rs422.08 to Rs418.96 per litre.
