PM leaves for UAE

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif will embark on a two-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from Monday to attend the World Governments Summit in Dubai.

He is visiting at the invitation of UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The summit will gather global leaders, policymakers, and private sector figures to discuss governance, innovation, and international cooperation.

This will be PM Shehbaz Sharif’s second visit to the UAE since taking office in March 2024.

 He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and other key cabinet members, reflecting Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening ties with the UAE and global partners, reported Radio Pakistan.

The Prime Minister will deliver a keynote address at the summit, outlining Pakistan’s vision for inclusive economic growth, digital transformation, and governance reforms.

He will also hold bilateral meetings with UAE leadership, other world leaders, and top executives from multinational companies.

The visit underscores Pakistan’s commitment to deepening its partnership with the UAE, expanding economic cooperation, and exploring new opportunities for mutual growth.
