PMD predicts cold spell in upper parts of the country in next 24 hours

ISLAMABD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted dry conditions in most regions and cold weather in the upper parts of the country, in the next 24 hours.
The PMD states, “Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, with cold conditions prevailing in the upper regions.”
The forecast indicates the likelihood of fog at select locations in the plains of Punjab, upper Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the morning hours.
Temperature readings in major cities on Tuesday morning were as follows: Islamabad at eleven degrees Celsius, Lahore at fifteen, Karachi at twenty, Peshawar at twelve, Quetta at five, Gilgit at two, Murree at eight, and Muzaffarabad at ten degrees Celsius.
In the weather outlook for the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian, Anantnag, Baramulla, and Jammu are expected to experience cold and dry weather, while Leh is anticipated to have very cold and dry conditions.
