President Zardari approves appointments of governors for Punjab, KP and Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday approved the appointments of governors for Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan.

Sardar Salim Haider Khan has been appointed as the Governor of Punjab. The appointment of Faisal Karim Kundi as the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also been approved by Asif Zardari. Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has been appointed as the Governor of Balochistan.

The approval of the governor’s appointments has been granted under Article 101(1) of the Constitution.
