PSL 11 final: PCB rolls out tight security, clear rules… here’s your stadium checklist

entry rules

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued detailed entry guidelines for spectators attending the Pakistan Super League 11 Final at Gaddafi Stadium, as authorities ramp up security and crowd management measures for the high-profile event.

Fans have been instructed to carry original tickets along with valid identity cards for entry. According to the PCB, only small personal bags will be permitted inside the stadium, while large bags, outside food, and all types of bottles are strictly prohibited.

WHAT’S ALLOWED & WHAT’S NOT

The board has enforced strict restrictions on items that can be brought into the venue. Firearms, cigarettes, vapes, and any kind of weapons are completely banned. In addition, electronic items such as cameras, AirPods, hands-free devices, ear horns, and power banks will not be allowed.

Only flags representing Pakistan or the two finalist teams will be permitted, while political and religious banners have been prohibited to maintain a neutral and secure environment.

SECURITY & EVENT CONTEXT

The guidelines come as Lahore prepares for a packed final between Hyderabad Kingsman and Peshawar Zalmi, with thousands of fans expected to attend. More than 7,000 security personnel, including police and special units, have already been deployed around the stadium to ensure safety.

The final will also feature a star-studded closing ceremony, adding to the scale of the event, while authorities have urged fans to strictly follow entry rules to avoid inconvenience.
