Six killed in horrific Makran Coastal Highway crash
Six people were killed in a horrific collision between a gas bowser and a car on the Makran Coastal Highway (N-10) in Ormara’s Sarpat area on Wednesday.

WEB DESK: Six people were killed in a horrific collision between a gas bowser and a car on the Makran Coastal Highway (N-10) in Ormara’s Sarpat area on Wednesday.

According to Coastal Highway Police SP Aslam Bangulzai, the accident occurred in Zone 1B2 when a Toyota Corolla, bearing registration number BJN-481, was travelling from Turbat towards Karachi.

The car collided with a gas bowser travelling in the same direction, leaving all six occupants dead at the scene.

Police said the victims included two men, two women and two children. The car’s driver, identified as Aslam, was also among those killed.

Following the accident, a team of Coastal Highway Police reached the scene and carried out rescue operations. Police secured the area and took measures to ensure the smooth flow of traffic.

SP Aslam Bangulzai said traffic on the Makran Coastal Highway has since been restored, with vehicles moving normally in both directions.

The Makran Coastal Highway (N-10) is one of Balochistan’s major highways and carries heavy and long-distance traffic, making road safety a critical concern.
