Tareen extends good wishes to Pervaiz Khattak, party


ISLAMABAD: The Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party Chairman Jahangir Khan Tareen has expressed his good wishes for Pervaiz Khattak, who on Monday formed a new party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentarians, days after being thrown out of PTI. 

The former confidante of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman said that politics is changing after May 9, adding that political leaders are distancing themselves from the narrative of May 9.

Khattak on Monday, announced the new political party and obtained a formal declaration of the party in the name of PTI Parliamentarians.

Former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan also joined the new political party along with PTI’s 57 former MLAs, who declared their support for Pervaiz Khattak.

PTI’s former provincial ministers Ishtiaq Armar and Shaukat Ali are also part of the new party.
