Three suspects arrested after alleged police encounter in Karachi’s Taiser Town

WEB DESK: Three suspects, including two injured during an alleged exchange of fire, were arrested after a police encounter with armed robbers in Karachi’s Taiser Town area, police officials said.

According to police, the encounter took place in Sector 79 of Taiser Town, Gulshan-e-Maymar, where officers engaged the suspects during an operation.

Police said three suspects were taken into custody, while two of them sustained injuries during the alleged gunfight.

A search of the suspects led to the recovery of three illegal pistols, ammunition, two mobile phones, and cash, police officials added.

The motorcycle allegedly used by the suspects during the crime was also seized and taken into police custody.

Police said further investigation into the arrested suspects and their possible involvement in other criminal activities is underway.
