The written verdict also mentioned all the reasons for granting bail to Bushra Bibi.

However, the release order could not be processed due to the absence of Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Special Judge Shahrukh Arjumand and Special Judge Humayun Dilawar.

As the bail was granted, the PTI counsel submitted the surety bonds and knocked on the doors of the two judges to get her release order issued.

Bushra Bibi’s counsel Khalid Yusuf Chaudhary and Khadija Saddiqi also approached Administrative Judge Raja Jawad Abbas but he had already left the courtroom.

Later, the two counsel pleaded with the court of sessions judge west for the release order but they were told that the name of the said court was not on the list of the duty judges who could issue the bail orders.
