11-year-old boy dead body recovered from trash

SIALKOT: Body of an 11-year-old boy has been found dumped on a heap of garbage near his home in Salehpur area in the jurisdiction of Kotli Syed Ameer police station of Sialkot.

Police have said they have shifted the body to hospital for the postmortem.

An area resident has said that the child went to a wedding ceremony. “But when he did not return, his family started searching for him. And at last, his body was recovered from a heap of garbage just close to his home,” he elaborated.

Soon after learning about the incident, a heavy police contingent reached the site.

Police have said that an investigation into the incident is underway and that soon the culprit will be behind the bars.
