ISLAMABAD: A delegation of 50 Saudi business leaders, led by Deputy Minister of Investment Ibrahim Al-Mubarak, arrived in Pakistan on a three-day mission to bolster bilateral investment ties, officials said on Sunday.

The visit, which includes B2B meetings with a broad spectrum of Pakistani companies, is expected to enhance trade relations and explore new business avenues in sectors such as agriculture, mining, energy, and technology.

Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and Minister of Petroleum Musadik Malik received the delegation at Noor Khan Airbase, highlighting the significance of Saudi-Pakistani economic collaboration.

Jam Kamal said that the convergence of top-tier Pakistani firms with their Saudi counterparts across 30 companies will focus on sectors including human resources, chemicals, maritime, and more.

He emphasized that the discussions would extend to existing refineries, IT, religious tourism, telecommunications, aviation, construction, and utilities.

Both nations anticipate that the engagement will lead to substantial investment deals, job creation, and increased export opportunities. Pakistani enterprises are poised to present their investment proposals, with expectations running high for fruitful outcomes from the B2B sessions.
