Armed robbers loot mobile shop in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Armed men looted Rs. 630,000 from a mobile shop in Bari Imam area of Islamabad, escaping with the cash, according to police records.

The robbers, armed with modern weapons, executed the heist with precision, raising concerns about rising crime in the federal capital.

According to the FIR filed with the police, four robbers, riding on two motorcycles, entered the shop and carried out the robbery.

The shop’s CCTV footage captured the event, which has now surfaced.

DIG Operations took immediate notice of the incident, ordering the formation of special teams to arrest those responsible.

A case has been registered at the Secretariat Police Station and investigations are underway.
