Chinese PM to visit Pakistan next month

ISLAMABAD: Chinese Prime Minister (PM) Li Qiang will be visiting Pakistan next month, during which the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects will be reviewed.
Diplomatic sources have confirmed that the Chinese PM will visit Pakistan in April. The distinguished guest will meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari, and top military officials.
During his visit, discussions will focus on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and other key projects.

During the visit, the Chinese premier is expected to sign important agreements. Diplomatic sources also indicated that progress on the ML-1 railway project and other initiatives will also be discussed.
Chinese Premier Li Qiang had come to Pakistan in October last year to attend the heads of government meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) hosted in Islamabad. Li was the first Chinese premier to visit Islamabad in 11 years.
