Earthquake tremors felt in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad and its surrounding areas on Wednesday morning at 10:15 am local time.

The tremors which lasted several seconds send a wave of panic amongst the public.

According to the Richter scale, the earthquake was of magnitude 5.3 and its epicenter was the Hindukash mountain range.

The tremors were also felt in Sawabi, Malakand, Peshawar and surrounding areas.
