Five-year-old girl abducted from Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A five year old girl was abducted from Fauji Colony in Pirwadhai area of Rawalpindi when she went to a nearby shop.

According to the girl’s father, Yaqub Khan, the child had gone to a nearby shop to buy something but never returned home.

Despite efforts to locate her, the family was unable to find any trace of her by nightfall and feared that the little girl had been abducted from Rawalpindi.

The police have managed to obtain a CCTV footage of the area.

Armed robbers loot mobile shop in Islamabad

The CCTV footage shows, an unknown man, dressed in shalwar kameez, talking to the girl and walking away with her calmly.

According to the girl’s family the man in the footage is a complete stranger and they nor anyone in their neighborhood recognize him.

Police have registered an abduction case on Yaqub Khan’s request and launched an investigation.

Authorities assured that efforts are underway to trace the individual and safely recover the child.
