ISLAMABD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab Interim President Hammad Azhar made another dramatic reappearance and announced to launch a long march on Adiala jail where party founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi are incarcerated.
In a post on social media website X, Azhar, who had gone into hiding after making a brief appearance in May, said that the party leadership in Punjab including members of the provincial assembly and party ticket holders were ready to offer any sacrifice in this regard and it has become sine qua none to launch a decisive movement to get rid of a government which has imposed a virtual martial law in the country.

He said that they were coming on the streets on August 13 on the call of Imran Khan and the whole Punjab will come out for the “sack of the freedom of Pakistan”.
He said that for a decisive march, “participation of all members of the PTI was mandatory even if it costs us imprisonment at the hands of fascist regime.”
Azhar said that there is a virtual marshal law in Punjab where fake parliamentarians make and enact lopsided laws and they are bent on mocking democracy.
