Assistant Commissioner Karachi Hazim Bangwar has been removed from his position

The civil servant who garnered social media popularity due to his flamboyant style is in the news once again. Hazim Bangwar, former Assistant Commissioner in Karachi, has been removed from his post and has been instructed to report to the Services and General Administration Department.

An official notification shared by a private TV channel confirmed this update.

Initially Hazim garnered attention due to his fashion designing educational background that also reflects in his choice of attire. Before joining civil service, he has worked in media industry as a model, and has also dabbled with poetry and fiction writing.

Hazim Bangwar also made headlines when he revealed that he was accepted into Harvard University. However, after this revelation, he took to social media to clarify that he will neither leave his job nor the country, but rather attend classes online.

Hazim holds a degree in Fashion Design and Marketing, and an LLB from institutions in London.
