Hot, dry conditions to persist across country today

WEB DESK: Hot and dry conditions are likely to persist in most parts of the country on Monday, predicts Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

However, Kashmir and adjacent hilly areas may experience partly cloudy skies along with thundershowers and light rain in the evening.

In Islamabad and surrounding areas, warm and dry weather is expected throughout the day, with a chance of partly cloudy skies by night.

Punjab will also see hot and dry conditions in most districts, but Murree, Galiyat, and other nearby areas may have afternoon thunderstorms and light rain under partly cloudy skies.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will experience dry weather in most areas, with hot conditions in the plains.

In Sindh, the forecast suggests hot and dry weather, though some coastal areas might see light rain or drizzle alongside partly cloudy skies.

Balochistan is expected to remain predominantly hot and dry.

In Kashmir, partly cloudy weather could bring thunder and light rain in certain areas.

Gilgit-Baltistan is likely to remain dry with some partial cloud cover.
