I have good relations with Jahangir Tareen and Pervez Khattak: Faisal Vawda

ISLAMABAD: Former federal minister Faisal Vawda appeared on Hum News’s programme “Upfront with Mona Alam” on Saturday. During the show he said that there will be no ticket holder from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in upcoming elections. Faisal Vawda stated, “I do not see Chairman PTI on the election ballot.”

He further said, “I am the only person who has not joined any other political party. I have good relations with Jahangir Tareen and Pervez Khattak”, adding that it is easy for him to leave politics rather than joining any other political group.

He further said that he had been associated with PTI for 14 to 15 years because of the ideology. He also credited Chairman PTI for teaching him politics.

Furthermore, Faisal Vawda praised the late Arshad Sharif, saying that he was a very good and virtuous person, adding that his blood will not go in vain.

He also criticized the fact-finding team, established to investigate the murder of Arshad Sharif terming it as ‘complete drama’.
