Justice Mansoor Ali Shah to moderate session on ‘equality and rights’ at Yale

ISLAMABAD: Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, a distinguished Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, is currently on a study tour in the United States, which will extend until October 1, 2023. His itinerary includes participation in the prestigious four-day Global Constitutionalism Seminar 2023, hosted at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, USA. Notably, Justice Shah will also serve as a discussion leader, moderating one of the sessions focusing on “equality and rights.”
During his visit, he will deliver a lecture at the Pardee School of Boston University on September 25, addressing Pakistan’s evolving jurisprudence and the trajectory of future legal reforms.
Additionally, Justice Shah will impart his expertise by co-teaching a course on comparative constitutionalism and sharia law at Harvard Law School, alongside Professor Intisar Rabb, a distinguished faculty member. He also has plans to participate in a workshop aimed at advancing a collaborative initiative between Harvard Law School and the Supreme Court of Pakistan, focusing on the development of a cutting-edge research portal for Pakistan cases (Pakistan Courts Project).
Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah is scheduled to return to Pakistan on October 1, 2023.
