Karachi citizens apprehend alleged robber

KARACHI: An alleged robber was apprehended by civilians on Friday near the Liaquat Ali Khan Chowk located within Azizabad, a neighbourhood in Karachi.

The suspect was violently attacked by the public before being taken into custody by police officials.

According to the police, weapons were recovered from the accused. A full investigation against the accused is underway.

Meanwhile, firing broke out near Korangi number 2 in Karachi. At least one person was injured during the altercation.

According to the rescue officials present on scene, the injured was shifted to a local hospital for treatment.
