List of ‘electables’ shared with PM by PMLN’s KP leadership


ISLAMABAD: In a bid to finalise its election strategy in the province of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (KP), a list of electables from KP willing to join Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) was provided to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif according to the party’s provincial spokesman Ikhtiar Wali Khan.

The list was discussed in a meeting held earlier today between Sharif and a delegation of current and former parliamentarians from KP led by Amir Muqam and Murtaz Javed Abbasi.

Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Shahbaz said that special developmental initiatives had been included in the federal budget 2023-24 for KP with a particular focus on the merged districts. “We will make all out efforts so that people of KP benefit from projects in health and education sectors,” he added.

“The premier also announced to launch youth loan and laptop schemes for students from from the province and pledged to equip farmers with latest technology along with provision of quality seeds and fertlisers,” according to Wali.
