Petrol price reduced by Rs8.47 per litre

ISLAMABAD: In celebration of Independence Day, petrol prices in Pakistan have been reduced by Rs 8.47 per litre for the next fortnight.

The price of diesel has been decreased by 6.70 paisas per litre. The new prices will take effect from August 14, Tuesday, Pakistan’s Independence Day.

The price of petrol has been set at Rs 260.96 per litre, while the price of diesel has been set at Rs 266.07 per litre.

The prices of petroleum products are announced for the next 15 days on the 1st and 16th of each month.

The country is celebrating its 77th Independence Day tomorrow, August 14 (Tuesday), the early announcement of the expected reduced petrol prices tonight could be an independence day.
