Passengers suffer as several PIA flights delayed

KARACHI: The PIA passengers are facing numerous hardships as sometimes the flight operation of the national flag carrier gets delayed and sometimes its aircraft run out of fuel. Today several domestic and international flights of the PIA were delayed, causing passengers to suffer.

On Sunday, the PIA flight PK 263 from Lahore to Abu Dhabi was delayed for five hours. It was supposed to leave at 3:30 am but left at 8:30 am.

Likewise, PK 283 from Islamabad to Karachi was also delayed and it could not depart till the filing of this report. The flight was scheduled to leave for Karachi at 10 am.

LESCO recovers Rs 830 million from defaulters

Lahore-bound PK 302 also departed after a two-hour delay from Karachi airport.

Istanbul-bound flight PK 705 which departed from Islamabad airport was late by half an hour. It was scheduled to depart for Istanbul at 5:50 am.

PK 797 which flew to Toronto from Lahore airport was delayed once again. The flight was scheduled to depart at 7:30 am, but it departed after two hours.

PK 832, which was coming from Jeddah to Karachi, was also delayed by hours. It was scheduled to land at 7:30 am but it will land at 11:10 am. – INP
