PPP delegation engages with Maulana Fazl on constitutional amendments

ISLAMABAD: A group of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) convened with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehamn to discuss the proposed constitutional amendments.
During the meeting, the two parties touched upon the country’s political dynamics and proposed amendments to the country’s constitution.

Both parties explored the potential constitutional changes and the creation of a separate constitutional court. The focus was on ow the changes could impact the governance and legal structure of the country.
After their meeting, both side agreed to continue the dialogue and cooperate with other political groups. They also decided that any draft concerning constitutional amendments would be formulated only after comprehensive discussions among all stakeholders.

The PPP delegation included Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Sherry Rehman, Murtaza Wahab and Syed Naveed Qamar.
