PTI denies alliance with any party

MARDAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Ali Muhammad Khan has denied any alliance with any political party in the upcoming election.
Talking to a private TV channel, Ali said that the PTI is making its own political space. He said that the PTI is engaging different parties for free and fair elections and may meet Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman in this regard. However, he clarified that it will be a political meeting and not an alliance.

He also said that the PTI is expected to meet the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in the future regarding the election. He said that the PTI is only interested in clear and transparent elections and wants all parties to get an equal chance.
“We are not talking about any alliance, any relief, or any deal,” Ali said, adding, “We have no instructions from the party chairman to form an alliance with any party, nor has the core committee discussed any alliance with us.” – INP
