ISLAMABAD: Rain and strong winds have been predicted for Islamabad while the upper areas of the country are likely to receive snowfall
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued weather alerts for various regions:
Balochistan: Rain is predicted in Quetta, Mastung, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, and Qila Abdullah. Areas including Chagai, Nushki, Kalat, Harnai, Zhob, Musakhel, Qila Saifullah, Barkhan, Panjgur, Turbat, Jiwani, and Gwadar are also likely to receive rainfall. Flash flooding may occur in several districts due to heavy rain.
Northern Areas: Snowfall is forecast for Naran, Kaghan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Shangla, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir. Roads in Naran, Kaghan, and Chitral could be blocked due to heavy snowfall. Landslides are feared in the mountainous areas of Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Murree and Galyat: Rain and snowfall accompanied by strong winds are expected.

Punjab: Rain is predicted in Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujrat, Mianwali, and Khushab. Fog is likely in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Okara, Sahiwal, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin, Rahim Yar Khan, Khanpur, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Pakpattan, Khanewal, Vehari, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, and Jhang.
Sindh: Foggy conditions are expected in Sukkur, Benazirabad, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Dadu, Larkana, Khairpur, and Tando Jam.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Rain is likely in Peshawar, Haripur, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Bannu, Karak, Hangu, and Kohat.
The Met Office has advised citizens to exercise caution, particularly in areas prone to flash flooding, landslides, and foggy conditions.
