FIA arrests Tiktok star Sandal Khattak in video leaks case

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday arrested controversial social media star Sandal Khattak in Hareem Shah’s video leak case.

The case pertaining to the leak of indecent clips of Sandal’s former friend and fellow internet personality Hareem Shah was heard today by Special Judge Central, Azam Khan.

Both the plaintiff and accused appeared in the court along with their lawyers.

During the hearing, the leaked videos and photos of Shah were shown in the courtroom. Khattak pleaded before the court that although the videos were leaked recently, Shah was being harassed by her former friend for a year. She denied the clips were captured or leaked by her.

The judge rejected Khattak’s bail plea after hearing the arguments.

The scandal

Earlier this year in March, Hareem Shah came under severe public censure after her obscene clips went viral all over the internet after they were leaked anonymously.

She had accused her ex-friends Sandal Khattak and Ayesha Naz for stealing the videos from her mobile phone when they used to live together.

In response to the allegations, Khattak said the clips were filmed by Shah’s boyfriend and that such videos were not a big deal for Shah. She even went to accuse the latter of leaking her own clips for ‘fame’ claiming Shah was doing it to remain under ‘spotlight’.
