Tejori Heights was an under-construction multi-storey building located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. It has been the subject of legal proceedings and controversy due to alleged illegal construction on land that was originally allotted for the Karachi Circular Railways (KCR).

The Supreme Court last year ordered its demolition reportedly after the builders failed to establish ownership of the land being used for its construction.

Meanwhile, the governor expressed remorse for victims of street crime. He apologised to the victims’ families and stated he was committed to working for the rights of the people. He said he was dedicated to engaging with all relevant institutions to enhance security in the country’s largest city.
