Water supply suspended in Karachi

KARACHI: The water supply to metropolitan city of Karachi was suspended on Monday from Dhabeji pumping station due to a massive power breakdown.

Karachi Water & Sewerage Board (KWSB) spokesperson said all pumps of the Dhabeji pumping station have stopped working due to the power breakdown.

All hydrants have been closed in Karachi due to which the water supply has been suspended in Karachi.

Meanwhile according to K-electric the break down is due to technical fault and would be rectified soon

The water supply to the largest city of Pakistan has been suspended temporarily.

Dhabeji Pumping Station was installed in one of the most densely populated cities in the world.
