QUETTA: The formation of the Balochistan cabinet is anticipated within the next two days, following the Senate by-elections, sources revealed.
According to insider reports, the 19-member provincial cabinet is poised to include 14 ministers and five advisers, with key allocations likely to be distributed among various political parties.
The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are expected to secure six ministries each, while the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and Awami National Party (ANP) are slated to receive one ministry each.
Speculations suggest that Zia Longo of BAP is likely to assume the role of Excise Advisor, with Prince Agha Umar Ahmedzai potentially appointed as Labor Advisor. Zarak Mandukhel of PML-N is under consideration for the Health Advisor position.
Further, Zahoor Bilidi and Sadiq Imrani of PPP are rumored to be contenders for the finance and Irrigation Department ministries, respectively.
Sarfraz Domki may be appointed to the local government department, while Ali Madad Jatak could head the Department of Mines and Minerals.

Faisal Jamali of PPP is expected to take charge of the education department, while Obaidullah Gorgij is a likely candidate for the Department of PHE and WASA.
Salim Khosa of PML-N is speculated to be given the P&D department, with Nawab Jangiz Murri potentially heading the B&R department. Abdul Rahman Khetran may assume the Ministry of Interior, and Asim Kurd Gilo is a potential candidate for the revenue department.
Shoaib Noshirwani of PML-N may be tasked with the information department, while Rahila Durrani is rumored to take over the Women Development Department.
Moreover, Sadiq Sanjrani of BAP is likely to be appointed to the Department of S&GAD, while Zumrak Achakzai of ANP may assume leadership of the Agriculture Department.
