KARACHI: The Indian cricket board has released 14,000 tickets for the big match between Pakistan and India in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
The game will be at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on October 14. Pakistan’s team is coming from Hyderabad, where they played against Sri Lanka on Tuesday.
Tickets for the World Cup sold out quickly when they were first available on August 25. Because of the high demand, the ICC and India’s cricket board decided to release 14,000 more tickets. They announced this on Twitter.

Before the match, there was a threat to the stadium from a terrorist group. They sent an email to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and demanded money and the release of a jailed criminal. The police traced the email to Europe, and they are taking the threat seriously. They will review and improve security if needed for the World Cup games.
The World Cup started on October 5 with England playing New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Pakistan won their first game against the Netherlands by 81 runs. Now, they want to make it to the top four to get to the semi-finals.
