He believes that after the upgrade to the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, and the National Stadium in Karachi, cricket falls will have a better view from within each venue.

Earlier in August, Naqvi acknowledged that there is a disparity between Pakistan’s stadiums and international standards. He is “hopeful” that the work will be completed in time despite the challenge of upgrading all three stadiums.

It was reported on Friday that the Naqvi could possibly meet future ICC Chairman Jay Shah at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 finals on October 20. The meeting would hopefully lead to an approval of the event schedule for the upcoming tournament, allowing the PCB to finalise logistical arrangements.
