Cricket team senior manager Wahab Riaz, Mansoor removed from posts

LAHORE: Following Pakistan’s disappointing performance in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi Wednesday dismissed Pakistan cricket team senior manager Wahab Riaz and Manager Mansoor from their positions.

Earlier Wahab Riaz and Abdul Razzaq were also removed from their roles in the selection committee.

PCB chairman Naqvi promised surgery and committed second surgery over the Pakistan team’s poor performance in the T20 World Cup 2024.

According to sources, no discipline was witnessed in the team in all three tours and the decision was taken after the complaints were verified.
