VISAKHAPATNAM: Australia Women gained a massive victory over India Women in the 13th clash of the Women’s World Cup 2025, chasing down a 331-run target, the highest score of the tournament.

India women were able to contribute maximum into their team’s total as top order batters Pratika Rawal and Smriti Mandhana each scored 75 off 96 and 80 off just 66 balls, while middle order played a commanding innings to increase the total up to 330 in the finishing over of their innings.

However, Australia’s Women went remarkable in response as they showcased a commanding composure and depth. Their middle and lower order guided the chase expertly, despite early setbacks. With their amazing playing at the crease, they were able to reach 331 for 7 in 49 overs.

Earlier, India’s Women were able to post a massive 331-run target for 4 wickets against Australia Women in the 13th ODI match of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025.

Indian began with a confident start as top batters Pratika Rawal and Smriti Mandhana each scored 75 off 96 and 80 off just 66 balls before Sutherland and Molineux bowled them.

The following players also played remarkable increase the team’s total. Harleem Deol (38 off 42) and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (22 off 17) added 60 runs, increasing their team’s total up to 115 before being crushed.

Middle order remained even more expensive as compare first-in and second-in batters. Jemimah Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh each stepped to contribute 33 off 21 and 32 off 32 deliveries respectively, bringing the total up to 220 before each being fallen to Sutherland.

Among other players who also added to their team’s total were Amanjot Kaur, Deepti Sharma,  Kranti Gaud and Shree Charani. They all contributed 26 in the last overs of their innings against Australia’s Women.

Thanks to 24 extras conceded by the Australia’s bowlers that brought the India’s total up to 330 in the final over of the innings.

Earlier, Australia won the toss and elected to field first.
