Kylian Mbappé makes strong debut with Real Madrid

WARSAW: Kylian Mbappé made a strong debut for Real Madrid, leading the team to a 2-0 victory over Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup final.
The match showcased Mbappé’s potential as he scored his first ever goal for the club and helped secure their sixth European Super Cup title.

The game started slowly, with both teams being careful. Atalanta had an early chance when a pass from Marten de Roon hit the top of the goalpost. Real Madrid also had a chance before halftime, with a shot from Rodrygo hitting the top of the goalpost, as well.
In the second half, Real Madrid began to take control. Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois made an important save from Mario Pašalić. Real Madrid started to push more aggressively, and Federico Valverde scored the first goal.
Real Madrid kept up the pressure. Jude Bellingham helped set up another chance for Vinícius Júnior, but the shot was saved by Atalanta’s goalkeeper, Juan Musso.
Kylian Mbappé scored the second goal for Real Madrid after receiving a pass from Bellingham and finishing with a shot into the top corner of the goal.
Mbappé’s debut for Real Madrid was significant. He played for over an hour and 20 minutes, and his goal was important to the win.
After the game, the French footballer stated he was happy with his performance and the team’s victory.
