Squad for New Zealand tour announced ; Rizwan removed from T20 captaincy

LAHORE: National cricket team squad has been announced for the upcoming New Zealand tour. Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha have been included in the One Day International (ODI) team. Abdullah Shafiq, Babar Azam, Tayyab Tahir and Sufiyan Muqeem are also part of the ODI squad, along with fast bowler Naseem Shah.

In the T20 squad, however, Rizwan has been removed from the captaincy, and the team will now be led by Salman Ali Agha. Additionally, Umair Bin Yousuf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sufiyan Muqeem and Usman Khan are included in the T20 squad.

Abdul Samad, Abrar Ahmed, Haris Rauf, Hassan Nawaz, Jahandad Khan and Khushdil Shah are also included in the T20 squad for the New Zealand tour, along with Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Haris and Mohammad Irfan Khan.

Mohammad Bin Yousuf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sufyan Muqim, and Usman Khan as wicketkeeper are also included.
