DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled the schedule for the Super 8 stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, signaling the transition from the initial group matches to the next phase of the tournament.

The Super 8 matches will kick off on June 19 in Antigua and Barbuda, featuring a series of matches at different venues.

The teams that have secured their places in the Super 8 stage include India, Australia, South Africa, West Indies, Afghanistan, and the United States (US). These teams demonstrated exceptional performance in the initial group stage matches.

The opening match of the Super 8 will feature South Africa against the US in Antigua on June 19. Later the same day in St Lucia, West Indies will compete against either Scotland or England. The match outcome will determine who will play against the co-hosts.

The action will shift to Barbados where Afghanistan will face India on June 20. This will be followed by Australia taking on either Bangladesh or the Netherlands in Antigua.

The schedule includes matches between various qualifiers and top teams from the group stages.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Super 8 schedule will run from June 19 to June 24. The matches will be held in Antigua, St Lucia, Barbados, and St Vincent.
