Four schemes worth Rs8.2bn approved for Sindh

KARACHI: Sindh Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved four schemes worth Rs8.2bn in Planning and Development Department
Three schemes were approved in Irrigation department and one in the industries & commerce department.
The approval was granted in a meeting presided over by Planning & Development Board chairman Najam Ahmed Shah.
ECC approves circular debt management plan, POL supply agreement
These schemes include rehabilitation/restoration of Karo Gungro outfall drain system and its Allied structures including the construction of the Dewan Drain from drainage inlet Darya Khan Pumping Station Hyderabad to Karo Gungro drain in Tando Muhammad Khan drainage division worth Rs 1996.774 million.
The PDWP approved the retaining wall along Gaj diversion Bund in the Southern Dadu division worth Rs 2281.268 million. one scheme was approved in the industries & commerce department which includes rehabilitation of roads and drainage of site area Hyderabad worth Rs 1100.000 millions
The chair asked all administrative secretaries to ensure the timely completion of the schemes for the benefit of the ordinary people.
