Trump projected to win 2024 US election

Trump

WEB DESK: Fox News project Donald Trump to win the swing state of Pennsylvania in the 2024 US election on Tuesday, which would put him three votes away from being elected to office for his second term after serving as the 45th US president from 2017-2021.

The former president will likely reach the necessary 270, as Trump is projected to win Pennsylvania, putting him three electoral votes away from becoming the president elect.

Trump dominated the seven swing states, including Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, and Nevada. After winning North Carolina and Georgia, many avenues became available for the president elect to win a second term in office.

Trump projected to Georgia, only needs Pennsylvania

Had Trump not won Pennsylvania, he would still only need Michigan and Wisconsin, or Michigan and Nevada, to reach 270 electoral votes.

Alaska will provide the remaining three electoral votes needed for the Republican presidential candidate to win the election. He currently leads in the historically red state with 58.62 per cent of the vote according to Fox News.

The former president not only performed well in the swing states and republican strongholds, but also in Blue states such as New York. He took home over 44 per cent of the vote in the state, seven per cent more than in 2020.
