SIALKOT: In a media statement, PTI-backed independent candidate Rehana Dar who stood against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Khawaja Asif declared her unwavering resolve against the “injustices” she endured, allegedly at the hands of Khawaja Asif.
Standing firm in her assertion, Dar vehemently refuted any association with politics, asserting her role as a housewife prior to her involvement in the public eye.

She said, “I, a single mother, came out against the cruelty that was forced upon me and broke the idols of fear”. She expressed gratitude towards the people of Sialkot for their unwavering support during her tumultuous journey, highlighting their solidarity amidst challenging circumstances. She said that all votes cast to her were in favour of Imran Khan.
“I said let’s do politics and not injustice,” she said, urging for fairness and integrity in the political landscape. She lamented the injustice she faced, questioning why she was subjected to mistreatment when she had no political affiliations.
PPP, PML-N strike back at Maulana Fazl’s allegations
Asserting her claims with conviction, Dar cited the presence of all Form 45 documents, which according to her, validate her victory. She alleged interference in the electoral process, claiming that only six polling station results remained outstanding, insinuating manipulation by her opponent.
Expressing concern for her sons who were also allegedly wronged, she appealed for an end to the “injustices” inflicted upon her family.
