Imran, Bushra indicted in Toshakhana case

ISLAMABAD: The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, and his wife Bushra Bibi have been indicted in the Toshakhana case.
The Accountability Court, conducting the proceedings at Adiala Jail, indicted the former prime minister and the former first lady. Earlier on Monday, the court had to postpone the charges due to Bushra Bibi’s absence, rescheduling it for today. The court said that if Bushra Bibi failed to attend today, arrest warrants may have been issued for her.
Accountability court extends Fawad Chaudhry’s physical remand
Imran along with his sisters attended the hearing, his and his wife’s counsel was present. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) representatives were also present. During the hearing, copies of the Al-Qadir Trust case were provided to Imran Khan.
In the Al-Qadir Trust case, NAB has nominated several individuals, including Imran Khan, his wife, and others. Notably, six of the accused, including Malik Riaz and Shehzad Akbar, are declared absconders.
