Independent candidate among three killed in North Waziristan

WAZIRISTAN: At least three people including an independent candidate were killed after unknown assailants opened fire in Tapi village of Miranshah district in North Waziristan on Wednesday.
According to the local police, the deadly shooting took place in the PK-104 constituency. They said that the assailants targeted independent candidate Malik Kaleemullah along with two other people while they were returning home after an election campaign.

The three including Kaleemullah were killed on the spot.
The police said that the bodies have been transferred to a local hospital for a post-mortem.
Police termed the incident a targeted killing.
No organization or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack.
