Ishaq Dar, Canadian counterpart hold phone call ahead of US-Iran phase talks

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Canada’s Foreign Minister Anita Anand held a telephone conversation, discussing the current regional situation and ongoing developments.

According to the spokesperson, both leaders exchanged views on key regional issues and recent changes in the situation.

The Canadian foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting peace in the region.

The two sides also discussed sustainable peace and a lasting ceasefire, particularly focusing on stability in Lebanon, the spokesperson added.

Both foreign ministers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening regional stability and enhancing mutual cooperation.
